The fixed configuration Pelican XS is fitted with a single VLSI transcode engine which provides full decode-encode capacity of up to 32 streams.

File workflows can especially benefit from the simplicity of Pelican's web and drop folder integration, where transcode speeds can reach over 300 frames-per-second. That's 10 times real time!

The rackmount Pelican XS measures only 250mm deep and weighs only 2.5 kg.
